Our Purpose

Article II Purposes

The association is organized as a charitable organization within the meaning of Section 501 (c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, and in this connection its purposes shall be:

1. To provide financial aid and assistance to indigent or similarly deserving retired public school employees in the state of Texas.

2. To receive and maintain a fund or funds of real or personal property, or both, and subject to the restrictions and limitations hereinafter set forth, to use and apply the whole or any part of the income there from and the principal thereof exclusively for charitable purposes
